Is up-course really free?+
Yes — completely free. There are no platform fees, no transaction cuts, and no hidden charges. We make money through optional premium services in the future, but the core platform is and will remain free.
How do I get paid?+
You set your own course price and add your own payment link (Stripe, PayPal, Lemon Squeezy, etc.). Students pay you directly — up-course never touches your money.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?+
Never. You keep 100% of your course revenue. The only fees you pay are what your payment processor (Stripe, PayPal) charges — typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.
Can I host my own videos?+
We support YouTube video embedding out of the box. Vimeo, Mux, and Cloudinary support are on the roadmap. You can also link to externally hosted videos.
What if I need help?+
We offer community support and comprehensive API documentation. Priority support and dedicated account management will be available in future premium tiers.
Can I use my own domain?+
Yes! You can point your custom domain to your up-course academy for a fully white-label experience. SSL certificates are included at no extra cost.
